History

Picotte Performance has been in business since 2004, when Pascal and Daniel Picotte decided to open a Yamaha motorcycle shop that would build on their expertise and knowledge acquired during their successful careers as motorcycle racers.

Pascal Picotte's career in motorcycle racing began in 1986. The first few years saw Pascal traveling across Canada with his Yamaha to compete in races, but it is only in 1991, after a third place finish in a Superbike championship in Mexico, that his talents were noticed by a representative of Ducati. Pascal won a championship in 1992 in the AMA series with Ducati, marking the beginning of a successful North American career. From this point on, the guy from Granby, also known as "the comet", continued to race against the best with the biggest teams, such as Kawasaki, Suzuki and Harley-Davidson, before returning to Canada with Yamaha in 2003.

For his part, Dominic Picotte had accumulated 15 years of experiences in amateur motorcycle competitions. After more than a decade in the automotive field, Dominic decided to bring his expertise in management to the Picotte Performance team. Today he heads up the parts and service department, and is responsible for meeting the needs of our clients when it comes to parts and accessories, and repairs and maintenance of motorized vehicles.

During all those years in the world of motorcycle racing, Pascal and Dominic Picotte were supported by a team of motorsports specialists sharing the same passion for performance, and whose expertise and know-how is undeniable.

Today, Pascal and Dominic Picotte are behind the wheel of their own company, and thanks to the determination and efforts of the great team they have put together, Picotte Performance is certainly a major reference in all of Canada for motorsports products and services.
